Washing powder and disinfectant can not be used in combination
In summer, it is easy to breed bacteria. So many friends may add disinfectant to their clothes when they are washing clothes. Some people simply put laundry powder and disinfectant into the washing machine. In fact, it can not only do no bactericidal effect, but also harm to the health of people.
Disinfectants are chlorinated phenolic disinfectants. Excessive or incorrect use is also dangerous. But the detergent contains more surface active agent. If the detergent and disinfectant are used mixed, it is easy to have a chemical reaction and weaken the efficacy of the detergent. In addition, if the chlorine containing disinfectant is mixed with the acid - containing detergent, chlorine gas will be produced. When the concentration of chlorine gas is too high, it can stimulate the human eye, nose, throat and other organs. In serious case, it can also damage the human heart and lung tissue and even endanger life.
So the normal way of washing should be: add 3~5 drops of disinfectant in a bucket of water in the washing machine, or add 1% to 5% of the disinfectant solution into the water, put clothes and sheets into it for 30~60 minutes, then use the laundry powder to wash normally.
